Another lie An opening to defend The tower topples down Fragmented from within The idol lies down Show your hand Show your smile Show me fear in your eyes Then I'll know you're fine Build a frame Paint a sky Tell me that's where you reside And I'll know you're a lie Gentle stars Darkness behind Feel it pull you in Underneath What resides? Is it foe or friend? Show your hand Show your smile Show me fear in your eyes Then I'll know you're fine Build a frame Paint a sky Tell me that's where you reside And I'll know you're a lie

Visions 03:27
In the sky We all have visions We all have visions What are mine? What are mine? What have I witness? Will you bear witness To what I find? Fermented feelings fill the room up to ceiling Intoxicated Feast on fruits from the vine We blur the line We blur the line From the heavens To the filth we call divine And the Lord said it will all end And the Lord said it will all end In the sky We all have visions We all have visions So who am I So who am I With no repentance I'll show repentance When I die Alleviate my station On a whim of deviation Breathe easy with the sharks When I fall into the brine We blur the line We blur the line From the heavens To the filth we call divine And the Lord said it will all end And the Lord said it shall all end

Spit It Out 03:29
Nightly In my environment These sideways stares Excite me Why do their eyes grows violent While their mouths stay silent Take that lemon out your mouth Spit it out Take that lemon out your mouth Spit it out Winding Wind it up so Tightly Leaves no room in their brain I see Everything they know But they don't know me So spit it out spit it out Take that lemon out your mouth And spit it out Take that lemon out your mouth And spit it out

Come and See 02:50
Friendly empty faces Soothe the confused and anxious But there is no life Residing in those eyes You say that you're my friend And you words they welcome me in And yet their is no life Residing in those eyes Black ink stare and a cardboard grin Place the bate that reels me in

Spring air Decomposing compost Compose my base intentions Into a fresh new scent Internal rotting nervous systems And unseen malfunctions The rock star fades quicker every year There's maggots in the pantry Just take what you can get A good source of protein So just take what you can get The hogs outside are hungry So just take what you can get The rock star fades quicker every year So why are you so adamant about rattling off your two cents? Battling with imaginary foes and other things that make no sense The sky is for dreamers So we end up rolling in the dirt And the rock star fades quicker every year There's maggots in the pantry Just take what you can get A good source of protein So just take what you can get The hogs outside are hungry So just take what you can get The rock star fades quicker every year

Isaiah 02:52
I'm living in a lucid dream Confusion is the truth to me I'll boost a couple big screens And maybe I can see in HD I'm watching all these cave men Staring at the fire While my microbots are busy Sending signals with no wires Fast-forward I'm gracious with my ruthlessness You have been cast down to the earth You who once laid low the nations You have fallen You have fallen You don't get to pick the winner You don't get to choose the rules And if you're lucky you'll remember You were born to play the fool You have been cast down to the earth You who once laid low the nations You have fallen You have fallen

Endless Loop 03:33
In the morning when my eyes rise up I try to forget what i dreamt Because it all meant nothing It all meant nothing but it sure was nice Sometimes it feels like an endless loop of sorrow Makes it hard to face tomorrow But I still keep going I still keep going into the night Hold me That's all I want Just Hold me That's all I need In the evening when my eyelids close My mind races In the evening when the blinds are closed I take the mask off my face It sure is nice Don't stop don't stop I won't stop you So don't stop don't stop Just hold me That's all I want

about

Is the world ending? Mournful lightness at the end of the world. Is this where we’re going? Is this where we are? Gritty mourning. Digging out of a cave of darkness and savoring the rocks and dirt on the climb. Soundtrack for when you wake up on a Monday and you have a week of grinding through the dystopia you don’t know how to fight but know isn’t all there is. Bay Area disdain for the state of things with stubborn belief it’ll change if you don’t accept this is it. What does the End mean? Where do I fit? Reminiscent of an end of the century music scene you might have missed even if you were there. Audio image of an internal state with emotional resonance-do we stay here? Where are we going? Dark innocence. Questions where and how we find beauty and if we even have the energy to look for it. A tale of friendship and the feverish pursuit of pleasure. Seeking the identity of the soul in a world covered by a dust storm. Questions without asking. Questions arise from observations on an internal state. Is anyone ordained to make change? Musical tribute to the struggle between futility and transcendence, with both feet on the ground and a mind in the sky. Humanity got lost and so did I. On a background of the static of the dystopia that is Silicone Valley. Summer afternoon with the radio up, folks at the park across the street and a house full of kids playing video games: Oakland/San Leandro city border, 1996.
